Dream Glossary


A dream glossary is intended as a tool to assist you in determining what the symbols may represent in your dream. Always remember to use your own wisdom when determining what a specific symbol means in YOUR dream.

Some examples of dream symbols are:

Authority figures: deepest, innermost authoritative part of Self; superconscious.
Bicycle: a need for balance within the physical body.
Children: new ideas or new way of life.
Death: a major change has occurred within your Self or your life.
Earthquake: emotional insecurity.
Falling: feeling out of control with life.
Gasoline: energy.
Hill: challenge.
Ice or snow: stagnant experiences; not fully embracing experiences in life.
Jewels: value seen in Self.
Knife: a tool for making a change in your life.
Letter: communication.
Mirror: looking at your Self.
Naked: honesty; openness.

Officer: disciplined aspect of Self.
Purse: place where value is stored.
Quicksand: feeling a loss of control in some area of life.
Restaurant: place for gaining knowledge.
Snake: wisdom; creativity; intuition; healing.
Thief: stealing from Self; taking your Self for granted.
Umbrella: sheltering the Self; avoiding life experiences.
Vegetation: desires growing in the subconscious mind.
Wine: wisdom.
X-Ray: perception; clairvoyance; seeing beyond the physical.
Youth: younger, less matureways of thinking or being; possible rebelliousness.
Zebra: a habit or compulsive way of thinking or being.
